TERROR-EYES INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove any nests and clean these previously infested areas as much as possible.
2. Do not over-inflate TERROR-EYES. In fact, slightly under-inflate, about 85%.
3. Locate TERROR-EYES close to the roosting birds, with good line-of-sight to the infested areas.
4. When installing more than two units, hang them each at a different height (a minimum of one unit diameter apart.)
5. To increase the random motion of TERROR-EYES, use the coil spring provided, and reinforce it with a piece of strong twine slightly longer. This should prevent distorting the spring.
6. When suspending TERROR-EYES from a rope, it is helpful, especially in windy areas, to anchor the unit to something stable below; use the loop on the bottom of TERROR-EYES.
7. To prevent the birds' becoming used to TERROR-EYES, occasionally relocate.
8. Punctures may be easily repaired with a vinyl bonding agent.

Inflatable Bird Deterrent Helps Food Processing Plant Company Comply with Health Codes

There's a group of consumers that loves Frito-Lay foods so much they actually fly from miles away to enjoy Doritos, Cheetos, and Tostitos. But Frito-Lay wishes this group never found out about its crunchy products, and it's easy to see why. These snackers are birds! "It's always been a battle for us to keep the birds away," said James Reeves, building maintenance supervisor. "The Frito Lay manufacturing plant here in Cucamonga is right next to a regional park which makes the bird problem a lot tougher for us. Hundreds of crows, sparrows, starlings and sea gulls would gather around our product waste area where there was food lying around. Our hands were tied but we had to find a solution because of the tight inspection policies within the food processing industry," Reeves explained.

Balloon ScareCrow Scares More Than Crows

Ted Armstrong, Xerox Corporation's supervisor of building systems in El Segundo, California, has had a serious duplication problem even though his job responsibilities have little to do with maintaining copy machines. His problem is with pigeons. "It seemed that almost every day there were more pigeons on the deck around the building as well as on the loading dock," said Armstrong, "and as their numbers increased so did my headaches, especially considering the size of the facility here." Xerox Corporation's Business Systems Division headquarters is housed in a 300,000 square foot, 16-story office building housing more than 1,000 employees within a few miles of the Pacific Ocean.

Terror-Eyes "moving eyes" pigeon repeller

Hi Mona,

We just wanted to share with you how delighted we are with your product. We purchased your SCARE EYES bird repellent system for use on our sail boat. They work beautifully!!

We string them up the mast with one at the top, one at the spreaders, one near the bimini and an additional one over the boom. Since they have been installed, it is pleasure to find our boat clean. We have observed that when birds approach, they detour our boat. It is amazing.

Thank you for your ingenious solution to a very annoying problem.

Sincerely,

Elaine and Jim McC

Unbelievable results eliminating bird problems with Terror-Eyes

Gentlemen:

We are dairymen in northern Wisconsin. We have an open commodity shed in which we store various feedstuffs for our dairy cattle such as pizza crusts, shell corn, cottonseed, etc. We had been having considerable problems with birds roosting, eating and messing in our commodities. We had tried unsuccessfully to scare them away with BB guns and other assorted gimmicks to no avail. I read about your product in Successful Farming magazine and we decided to give one of your large Terror-Eyes a try. After all, what did we have to lose?

The Terror-Eyes arrived in November and I am happy to report we have not had a single bird in the commodity shed since then. It is really unbelievable since we had virtually flocks of birds there before. They simply disappeared!!!

We just wanted to write and let you know how happy we are with your product. We have been recommending it to anyone who mentions a similar problem. We would appreciate receiving any catalog you have available.

Sincerely,

Linda B.

Terror Eyes: A Cherry Choice

We found the balloon with eyes in our garage when moving into this house and used it in our cherry tree after waking up to it's intended purpose after losing our good cherries to the birds. This year we picked our cherries ourselves! This 'watchful' bird hanging in the tree did the trick and now it is scaring the birds from perching in our son's pavilion; it works there too! Thanks for such an easy 'fix'!!
