Of course, it's best to start your bird control program with a clean slate. Birds are creatures of habit and will return to their marked territory (which they often recognize by smell, the same way that dogs do.) If you get rid of the droppings prior to product installation, you will eliminate a very strong incentive for the birds to stay, thereby increasing your bird control success. We suggest you use B-X Safety Solvent Cleaner as part of your program to remove bird droppings from your facilities. Because bird droppings harbor and cause many diseases, it is imperative that you only consider this solvent as one part of your plan - it will not do any cleaning or disinfecting. You MUST clean and disinfect properly, and you MUST wear protection when working with or near the droppings.
 B-X Safety Solvent helps dissolve bird droppings, as it does many sticky substances like tar, grease, wax, gum, non-skid treads, adhesive, cement and more. When you pour or spray the undiluted solvent directly on the droppings, you begin to solubilize it, preparing it for easier rinsing and cleaning with proper cleaning agents and disinfectants.
