Bird Control Company Explores New Markets
In their April 4th blog post, Bird-X detailed how breaking into new industries has brought many fresh opportunities for marketing their bird and pest control products.
In February, Bird-X attended the Golf Industry Show in San Diego, where they soon found out just how important bird control is for golf course superintendents. The number one pest bird on golf courses is the Canada goose, which can produce around a pound each of droppings per day, and can cost golf courses thousands of dollars in clean-up and maintenance. Bird-X introduced a bird control solution ideal for golf courses looking to solve pest bird issues.
Earlier this year, Bird-X debuted their new autonomous ProHawk™ UAV drone—the first of its class made specifically for bird control.
Dennis Tilles, Bird-X President, stated that Bird-X is expanding into the agriculture and viticulture industries. Tilles mentioned that Bird-X’s newest drone helps protect crops from deprivation by conditioning pest birds to stay away. The combination of a terrifying physical appearance and lifelike predator and bird distress calls are the key to its efficacy. According to Tilles, Bird-X continues to consider other markets where bird control products would be valuable to clients.
“With the ProHawk™ UAV drone, it became even more apparent that effective pest bird control should be a key operational management solution for all market segments. Pest bird management is quickly arriving at the forefront of facility and agricultural planning,” said Tilles.
The leading international brand in humane bird control solutions, Bird-X is dedicated to working with clients to find the best and most cost-effective solutions to combat pest bird problems. The Chicago-based company manufactures a complete line of unique bird control products that protect the health of humans, wildlife, and the environment by deterring pest bird from unwanted areas without harming them.
